Still haven't had any of my challenges accepted against Bravesandfalcons, Jesusislord, or actuary_aspire. Have sent them PMs on here as well. Game vs rekrap is going.

I lost to Minnesotah.

I think I was okay out of the opening, but I missed 18. Bc4+ and although the computer thought I was still fine, I didn’t think so and wasn’t able to find all the accurate moves to stay out of trouble. Good game!

I defeated Abstract Actuary.

I was white and we got into a French Exchange opening I wasn't too familiar with. I was able to get a nice advantage by forcing my d pawn forward into his personal space. Unfortunately I played a line that in which the computer thought was a theoretical draw at one point. I thought it was clearly winning, and I guess Abstract Actuary thought the same because he didn't go down that line. Eventually I was able to grow my lead and he resigned.

Good game!

I defeated Macroman in a Vienna game with everything coming down hard on his king. I was pretty happy about 9...Bxg1 since that put my rook right behind the pawn I wanted to push.

Good game!

I defeated Macroman.

It was an even game but then I won on a cheap tactic. Looks like his blunder clocked in late night this weekend. Sometimes these correspondence games let you think a lot about the position, and other times these games let you forget a lot about the position while you are away.

Good game https://www.chess.com/daily/game/248819946

Got my game going vs bravesandfalcons. Still nothing from actuary_aspire and jesusislord.

My game with rekrap has been interesting. He surprised me with a big pawn advance to challenge my center control before I had castled. Ended up looking into different lines and options for quite a while which probably means I made the wrong move. The game is starting to get pretty sharp with his queen on the 2nd rank (I'm white) and my queen on the 7th rank.
