All it took was another $23m to Icahn to get him to shut up

Share price up to $14 something. Another activist shareholder wants it at $22.

Stock price hasn't moved...efficient market hypothesis in action or are people slow to react to new information?

AMBest is always behind in these situations, market saw this coming. Only issue is that the next downgrade will impact their ability to write business in certain segments. But it will probably take AMBest 6 months to a year to get around to that.

They finalized their privatization deal so the sale price is as is ($14.75). I didn't even think the stock was trading anymore but looks like it is.

Any movement now is possibly speculators thinking the deal could fall thru or change?? Had this downgrade come through prior to the the Stone Capital / Privatization deal I wonder what impact it would have had then.
