  • It's set-up for landscape-oriented, legal-sized paper, but kept to 10 pages (plus the first page of prob/FM review)
  • I used Word's equation editor, so there were some limitations on notation. For example, term insurance is denoted with a prime above the age, rather than a 1.
  • At some point I plan to create a semi-blank version for practice and will upload it if I complete it.
  • h/t to the blackdog29 for the posted MLC notes in three parts. My notes are mostly a reorganization of those, with a few updates and additions.

UPDATE: 20130411 new file
This summary is awesome. Thank you for your hard work!

Default Updated File

I've included an updated file (with some of the suggestions above) and also a blank sheet for practice on the formulae. I'm haven't tried filling it in yet, but I am guessing you'll have to write small to make it work.

Also added a picture to the interim reserves that helped me memorize the formula.

FYI there appears to be a typo in the Woolhouse formula for life expectancy. Should say +1/2.

@Illj I believe that the latest (0509) version has this fixed, but let me know if not.

For the record, the gain by interest formula on page 9 should have a negative out front.

Any other corrections are appreciated.

Oh alright. I'm just going off whatever I have printed out. On my phone, so I can't download the latest version to check. Thanks!

Great formula summary, been reviewing with it all day and repeatedly copying down all the formulas I wasn't 100% familiar with.

Shouldn't gain by interest be (i'-i)*(t-1_V + G - e) though? Since we earn gains by better-than-anticipated interest rates, but other than that the gain by source formulas are right to me.

I agree about the gain-by-interest formula. In a previous comment I stated, "For the record, the gain by interest formula on page 9 should have a negative out front," which produces the same result.

Again, thanks for editing. I'll re-upload soon.
