I liked it too. was refreshing to see his early life in africa depicted as just a regular childhood. it seems like the only pictures we get of africa are all about unrest and famine, etc. his note at the end was very sweet.

I donít think itís jumped the shark, but hubby & I were confused watching the most recent episode. We were like ďwait, is that the series finale?Ē

Itís not: thereís one more half-hour episode on 1/23 and then a one-hour series finale on 1/30. Iím not exactly sure what theyíre going to do in those two episodes though. Maybe weíll get to find out which historical figures make it into the good & bad places?

BTW, whatís with Jason being so smart this season? He figured out Janet was a fake and then actually gave Chidi really good advice. The Janet thing was believable, although I admit I totally missed it. But the way he tricked Chidi seemed a bit out of character to me. Are there other hints that heís legit not as clueless as he used to be?

I guess way back in Season 1 he figured out that Eleanor didnít belong in the good place...

Yeah, giving Chidi good advice was out of character. TRICKING Chidi into agreeing with the advice was absurdly out of character. I actually thought it was a setup for some demon pretending to be Jason.

Same... or Eleanor in a Jason suit. Or Michael, who I guess is technically a demon.

I'm kind of hoping the series ends with them traveling to the good place, but can't get in and realize they've been in the bad place the whole time. Fin.

That's cold, I know, but it's really terrible lately.

Or maybe the whole thing from the get go was a test to see if they were good enough to get into the good place?
