Default MLC Study Group in D.C/Arlington?

Anyone interested in forming a study group? Currently on reserves and planning on tackling practice problems/exams sometime in March.

Do people actually learn better when they study in a group?

I've done it once for MFE. The person didn't know the material as well as I did. By teaching him on certain questions and concepts he wasn't familiar, I became more confident in the material as well. I got a 6 while he got a 9 lol.

Anyways, I'd like to believe that as long as we're not being too distracted then it certainly can't hurt.

Sounds like someone who wanted free lecture sessions.

Nah he's a friend. He used TIA for MFE and said it was not that great and we were doing ADAPT problems together and this was my 2nd attempt so I initially knew the material better than him.

I think one of the good things about a study group is that it can keep you accountable. There are some nights when I come back from work and I'm like, "Screw it I'm not studying today" because I might feel tired. This is my 1st and last attempt at MLC and I have a strong feeling it's gonna be harder than the other 4 prelims.
