"By not hiring me, you're breaking the law." Nonsense. I'm not hiring anybody and that is definitely not illegal.

My boss said employer will make a new job position called head sr actuarial analyst and a pay bump to 105k.

She said that after this promotion, I'll be ineligible for more promotions for a long time due to how fast I've been promoted. Apparently, my other coworkers are jealous of my progress.

I accepted the promotion even though it's a rip-off. I will start looking for other positions. If my employer wants to screw over its best worker, then I'll go to some place where people will appreciate my value.

I'm the only analyst here who's providing positive value to the company and I'm worth more than all the executives. Screw them.
Can't wait to see them all crash and burn when I leave.
So you're hanging out in the woman's bathroom?

No need to. The men's room here is clean. I wouldn't mind sleeping in it.

What law is that, exactly?

Regardless, being the best worker bee does not equate to being a good manager.

Being great at getting the right answer does not equate to being great at explaining the answer to non-technical audiences.

Being great at fixing mistakes does not equate to helping develop talent in younger actuaries.

Being great at the job you have is a necessary but insufficient piece of advancing. You also have to instill confidence in the higher ups that you'll be great at the higher level job.

I call BS on this. If they can create a unique (super) position once, they can surely do so again. If you really believe that this is a once in a hundred years event, you don't understand actuarial work very well. Also, did you get your own parking space, because if you didn't you left money on the table.

Also, regarding not being able to be promoted due to everyone else being jealous, why do they need to let everyone else know? Just pay me more and don't change my title.

How is OP supposed to lord it over people without a title?

OP is a rising star and is obviously an exception to pretty much every rule ever made.
