As for fail rates, I think P and FM have about a 50% pass rate, so your not alone. Your first sitting for an exam is just that, your first sitting; now you know what to expect. My strat for FM was to make 3 runs through the problems: 1st time through: skip all Derivatives type questions, skipped any FM problem that i couldnt just 'run' through 2nd time: did all derivative problems that i could just 'run' through 3rd time: made best attempt to answer all remaining questions had like 3 still unanswered at this point with 10 min to go, so I guessed on 2 and chugged my last 10 min away on the 3rd. I used 2 hrs 59 min and 45 sec when I passed FM. |

I failed FM the first attempt... and the second attempt.
I knew the material the second attempt, but just did not have enough time. So, I'm reviewing flash cards daily (immediate recall instead of deriving formulas), and practice problems daily. In about a week I'll begin PE's daily so that I can be "fast & furious" when it comes to doing the problems under actual testing conditions. Keep $tudying! Keep taking practice exam$!

Yea, it's more about learning -how- to pass exams, not necessarily the individual material. You'll nail it down.
