Default Is the FE Module the same for each FSA Exam track?

Is the Financial Economics Module the same for each FSA exam track? (ie. Group & Health, General Insurance, etc.)

For example, if I am on the Group & Health track then will my FE module be the same as someone that is on the General Insurance track?

The overall FE module is the same. There's a total of 4 or 5 tasks, and depending on which track you're on, you'll be asked to do 2-3 of the tasks of the 5 available.

For Example, if you're in life, you might get asked to do 1, 2, 5. If you're in Retirement, 1, 3, 5. Again, I completely made up the numbers because I cannot remember.

If I am undecided about which exam track I am going to take then will I need to do all sections? I am trying to decide between the Group & Health track and the General Insurance track and I thought this module would be a nice place to start since it is required by both tracks. I don't want to do more work then is needed. Do you think that if I do the Group & Health requirements that it will count toward the GI track as well, just in case?

That's not something I can answer. Just email the eLearn@SOA.org with your question.
