Sorry, I meant Pearl is a scumbag. Grant seems to be a terrific human being, apart from being a bad head basketball coach.

His players do well in the classroom and off the court, so for that part he has done his job. He will get one more year, and if he can't do anything Bama will let him go most likely.

Unfortunately I keep hearing he's likely getting 2 more seasons, unless '14-'15 is a complete disaster. Of course the same was said about THIS season that ended 13-19, so who knows.

I think if Bama is anywhere near the bubble, he'll get another year because it will be seen as "improvement". The returning roster might be the best he's had at Bama too, so that's probably going to happen.

I'm rather unhappy about it, especially with Pearl doing more to promote his school in 1 day than Grant has done in 5 years.

actually it was Craft, Josh Selby, and Jordan McRae...and Pearl's so-called "crime" is now legal according to the NCAA

Bad news for Happy Skunk: Pearl hasn't sucked at Auburn.

Good news for Happy Skunk: there's still hope.
