Suddenly the hottest team in baseball. Guess they were piping the right stiff in when they traded for Strohman.

Listen how about we take your bullpen, C, 2B, 3B, and IL and combine it with our rotation, 1B, SS, and OF and go into the playoffs as YaMets.

Over the next 4 weeks all their opponents will have winning records except for 3 games vs. KC. Now we'll really get to see what was in those pipes.

Over the first two weeks, Mets are 7-4. Over the rest of the season, the Mets have 2/3 of their games at home where they are 14 games above .500. Plus they still have four more games against Miami, four against Arizona and three against the Reds and Rockies.

Quite a game last night. Guess they heard what happened to AAA team earlier in the day and wanted to out do them.

Nice to know that Scranton still has a good supply of hitters after many of them are now on the Yankees.

mixed feelings

Was a poor on field manager, many questionable decisions. As a young manager, you could say he might work past that, but I didn't feel I saw much evidence of growth there.

However, this team never quit, whether on the season or in a game and I have to attribute that to the manager too.

The ultimate on how I feel about this will be who replaces him

I do feel the Mets will be an attractive spot for a manager
