That's actually part of the problem, they over-aircondition the office such that you can't wear the same clothes for commuting as working comfortably. It becomes necessary to either be ridiculously hot on your way to / from the office, or to be ridiculously cold when at your desk.

Unless your commute is unbearably long, I think the answer is obvious. Or you can just wear a T-shirt/undershirt on the commute, and put your dress shirt on when you arrive to work.

I like jeans regardless. I get some slight joint aches and I like tight fitting stuff like some jeans. Tight stuff makes the joints feel better somehow. I look better in business outfits but jeans are comfy.
