HelloMyBaby, thanks for the feedback. I applied for some data science and underwriter jobs, but did not hear back. I would guess it was because the exams are irrelevant, my engineering background is dated, and my other credentials are weak. I did take one online course in SAS, but I doubt that would qualify me for a full-time SAS programming position. Do you have any more advice on landing a job? Is there a mentor that you would recommend?

ETA: you wonít find non-actuarial jobs that list exams as a qualification because other fields couldnít give a shit less about the exams. Yet another reason the exam process is a complete waste of time.
