I drew against JimF. Interesting game where both made a couple of errors early on. Got very sharp towards the end and I felt like the position wouldn't be possible for me to hold much longer, so I bailed with a perpetual.

I lost to JimF. Felt pretty good about this one. Played what looks to be a far superior opponent (based on chess.com rating) what seemed like pretty tough. Thought I would be able to hold off an attack after taking a pawn, but ultimately could not.

DevilRox and CR had a draw. I had a small advantage, and probably could dhave done more. (up a pawn with only Queens on the board.)

Notus = jeffc31 defeats CR - I blundered that one away

tospeke defeated CR - I timed out, was travelling and was looking at the position in and out of airports. Wasn't necessarily losing or winning, but couldn't decide on a move, and timed out. Sorry about that.

Minnesotah and CR are still in an open game.

I lost against abstractactuary. Interesting game. You played very well throughout. I underestimated the entire Kg2->h4->h5 idea, and thought I'd have time to create some counter-play on the queen side with Qb6->Qa5 and plenty of threats. Just before playing 42... Qa5 though I noticed a nice tactic for you (42... Qa5? 43. e6! Rxe6 44. Qb8+ Rf8 45. Qb7 Rf7 46. Qc8+ winning the rook). Ugh. My failed plan to reroute my queen in a closed position cost me about three tempi, and it was basically over at that point. Nice technique at the end to finish off the attack, too!

I won against devilrox. Must have forgot to report it - sorry!

I'm in a K + Q + 3 pawns endgame against CR. I'm slightly worse but a draw via perpetual soon seems likely.

I have three different games going against Tospeke right now. Ha! One is for Team Minnesota vs. Team Indiana, but I'm not sure which of the other two is for this league... late middle-game-ish for both, slightly worse in one and slightly better in the other.
