Rose-tinted glasses, IMO. I thought vanilla WoW sucked. No idea why people want to go back. The first two expansions were way better, IMO. I stopped playing after that, because I didn’t have the time or desire to dedicate.

I remember now. Warriors had really bad AOE tanking until they upped the threat on ground stomp or whatever it is. Pallies were preferred by far. DKs came in and also had a pretty easy time on that front.

Druids I don't remember having an issue.

This article is 100% my experience from Vanilla. Sad Classic just won't be the same.

The thing that Classic won't be able to recreate is drama.

“It was ugly. There were total tantrums and sobbing fits on [Ventrilo]. After day one it wasn’t even about the sword anymore, it was about everything they had ever been mad about. One person faked their own death and had their ‘brother’ post about it on the forums, which was really weird.”

Ahh yes. I guess raid leaders and loot councils will be a bit more prepared and knowledgeable this time around, but I'm sure we'll still run into some derps.
