I feel like there are a lot of objectively "bad" things that I love the taste of. Black coffee, tequila, brussels sprouts, gouda, raw onions, salad dressing, beets. All tastes I acquired as an adult.

IPAs, pickles, and cilantro, though ...

I don't have a palate for bitterness. So, most beers are pretty bad, especially IPA's, and coffee is also quite bitter. It's also why I just don't like dark chocolate like everyone else seems to.

Breakfast food is simply overrated and limits my options for eating what I actually want to eat at an arbitrary time of the day.

I like tequila, brussel sprouts cooked and seasoned the right way, gouda, raw onions (caveat...they must be pickled, otherwise I can't tolerate the texture), salad dressing (how is this an "objectively bad" thing at all?? Most people love salad dressing), and beets. BUT, I also love pickles and cilantro.

I love sourness, so sour beers are excellent, as well as anything pickled. If they came up with a sour coffee...well, no, I probably wouldn't drink it, because I can't fathom how that would be good, but I'd probably like it better than coffee as it is now.

I don't drink coffee, but I love the chai tea latte at Starbucks, so that's how I voted.

Mmm, it’s been a while since I had an iced chai.

Also, isn’t chai just the word for tea in many languages? Always struck me as funny that we essentially call it tea tea.

I do the hot, not the iced, but yeah it's good. And I think you're right about the word.

I love sourness
Similarly, I don't much care for bitter - and I dislike the same things you do. Except that I like hot milk with mild coffee flavoring added. I've developed a liking for lattes, but I still can't deal with black coffee.

I'm so-so on sour things. I'm big on savory though. Bloody Marys and Caesars are some of my favorites, along with Rye & Ginger with a dash of rosemary bitters. And one year, a neighbor made some rosemary shortbread cookies that were amazing!
