I’ve only watched Let’s Plays of both, but the sequel got praise for being more of the first game... until it became a grind to get the “true” ending. My understanding is that it continued to be good through the “first”/natural ending, then turns into a slog.

The makers of Divinity:Original Sin are teasing a Baldur's Gate 3 release. Still need to pick up Divinity 2, but man this made my day.

Had a really good session of Rocket League last night. Hit Grand Champ for season 11 in both Snowday and Rumble within an hour. This ended up being the GWG in my promotion game to GC in Snowday. Probably one of my best Snowday goals to date.

Also, there is a major Rocket League tournament this week (Dreamhack Dallas). Definitely recommend tuning in for some of the games, pretty much all the best teams will be there.

that's savage.

the aerial hit is obviously an amazing play, but the hit before that... how did you get so much speed on the puck? was that just a perfectly timed dodge or something else? I mean, that puck goes from zero to 100 instantly and you really weren't moving that fast.

You know how the regular ball can pinch out quite quickly sometimes when pinned against a car and the wall or between two cars? It is like that, except since the puck is flat you can create pinches at almost anytime. Essentially what I did was use my forward dodge to pinch the puck between the nose of my car and the ground, causing it to launch out the way it did. So my front flip is forcing the nose of my car into the ground, but the puck is in the way and it has nowhere to go, so it pinches out in the path of least resistance.
