Lol that's one way to do it. Can that hurt your credit score or otherwise make it harder or more expensive for you to get insurance later on?

You were correct - it told me I had to call when I tried to cancel online. However I used the chat feature and cancelled through there, so I didn't actually have to use the phone. The CSR was nice too and gave me a discount on HBO (the one premium channel I wanted to keep).

Failure to pay premiums can go on an insurance report (something similar to credit reports) and have subsequent consequences on getting coverage in the voluntary market.
