Didn't realize FCAS was listed on the front cover. Didn't realize the author had his FCAS too.

Now, if he doesn't have it and is falsely representing it and bucketing it together with FSA. He should be careful. Look no further than the Great Stoli who after multiple attempts was never able to pass CAS 7.

Both of these guys studied actuarial science at Drake. Obviously passing all FSA exams by age 20 is quite impressive, but is graduating the Drake actuarial program with an ASA different than the norm there?

this.

As a quasi-mod here, I was going to report the thread as spam based on the OP. Since it seems (based on Campbell's post and others) the be a real study aid, I won't. But I'm sure a lot of people read the post and moved along because it looked so spammy.

This site routinely hosts ads from legitimate study-note authors (and similar) about their wares, though. An ordinary post from a known poster or from someone using a real name would get a lot more attention than click-bait.

Holy. Crap.

This is in the articles section of where this book is linked: http://www.rethinkstudying.com/study-supplements/

MEDICAL DISCLAIMER: We are (obviously) not doctors, and you should consult a medical professional and perform your own due diligence before trying any nutritional supplement.

Before discussing supplements, we should set clear expectations: supplements will not make or break your actuarial exam success. By definition, they can only enhance existing study habits, not replace them. That being said, when you’re taking the exam under strict time constraints and one question can be the difference between pass and fail, why not do everything you can to maximize your performance?

After researching and testing many supplements with reported cognitive benefits, we’ve narrowed the list down to our top 3 supplements that can help you along your actuarial exam journey. These supplements can both improve short-term performance on the exam and long-term memory during the study process.
I'm quite doubtful of the credibility of these actuaries who are now giving advice on supplements.

Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised... for example, one actuarial study prep company is now preparing candidates for the MCAT.
