Default Technology Based Exams (TBE)

While there is much speculation about different aspects of Technology-Based Examination being shared on the Actuarial Outpost, I just wanted to mention that all official information regarding TBE is available through the TBE section of the CAS website (www.casact.org/TBE). We'll also be updating this site with more details and additional FAQs. So, I invite you review the the documents on the official site and also to submit any questions you may have through the TBE inbox (TBE@casact.org).

Thanks for the update, Mr. Wilder.

Any comments on why candidates will not get a copy of their Exam (without grading marks/comments) with their answers after grading is completed?

It appears that logistics and costs would not be an issue, especially with the release of the Exam itself.

We're trying to manage all the Q&A through the CAS site and involve CAS communications as well. So, please, submit this question through the inbox. I'm guessing you're not the only one who's interested.

And by "inbox" you're referring to sending in an email to TBE@casact.org?

That's an excellent question, if I may say so.

Thanks. I'll likely draft out the question this weekend.
