Default Study Strategies

Any suggestions on how to best study for this exam? The readings are long and tedious. Identifying and retaining the level of detail needed to answer the exam questions seems to be quite challenging. Has anyone used the TIA CAS Exam 6 course? Any other recommendations?

Recently passed. It was the most tedious exam I've ever had. I took and passed the ERM, which is also a boring exam, but not as bad as this one (not even close...). I even considered writing a letter to the education committee to complain, although it must be pointless to do so.

Anyway, this exam tests your memorising ability, no shortcut at all but keep reading over and over. Don't even think about skipping any reading. There can be questions on the tiniest part, such as what're the pros and cons of an app installed on your smartphone for the UBI product...

I used TIA exam 6 and I think it helped to some extent, especially for the accounting/financial statement parts. To pass at one trial, for a person from non-English speaking background, it cost me at least 450 hours studying. That is at least 3 hours a day for 5 consecutive months. No fun at all...
