Passed! It was my first attempt, and I used MATE as well as the Crystal Clear problem set.

Glad to be able to file away ~350 note cards now...

Are source materials important if I’m using TIA? I do have one textbook but I don’t want to purchase the other 2 and study notes if I don’t have to.

Yes, the MATE materials did not have enough practice problems for me, so I picked up the CC problem set. There are about 300 other conceptual and math problems related to the Core exam.

Failed. It was my 1st attempt.

I was one of the candidates from Asia and have never been exposed to any US medical plans, but are still interested in passing this exam, those who PASS and like me, kindly share your tips?

Scores are up on transcripts. I got an 8, which I'm surprised by. Once I found out I passed, I was pretty sure I had a 6 or a 7. Real curious what the pass mark wound up being.

5 last time. 7 this time.

Honestly, I had no idea what score to expect.

I memorized all the MATE flashcards and went into the exam feeling like a million bucks. Has anyone ever memorized all of the notecards and failed?

By memorize I mean I was able to look at the front of each card and write down at least 75% of the back of each card
