Default Basic Life Table

I'm looking for a U.S. basic life table. Specifically looking to calculate life expectancy by age with male/female split. Ideally I would also be able to split this out by race and region. I would also like it to be general population rather than tied to a specific insurance product.

This seems really simple, but I haven't really been able to find any good data on this.

Any suggestions? It doesn't seem to me that any of the tables on the SOA site (https://mort.soa.org/) are a good fit, but I could be wrong. Many of them are also quite old.

See if the United States Life Tables, links to which are at the site below, help:

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/products/life_tables.htm

They break down US population by gender & race but not by region to my knowledge.

The Human Mortality Database has good data for the U.S. as well as many other countries. You must register, but it is free.
