He took two exams most sittings. Maybe all sittings. I think he passed both about half the time.

The first section on exam 5 includes counting months, recognizing the difference between calendar year & accident year, and understanding how to trend things through time.

If you think May to October is 5 months, you may lose out on some of the first points on the exam.

OP: I highly recommend that you go to the Exam 5 sub-fora and read through those stickies. I'll bet you'll find good information there that will help answer a lot of questions you're asking here (that are relevant to this area of the AO).

Your question about salary/raises is better asked in Careers.
