Default Is anyone using ADAPT? Do you find it helpful?

I am currently using TIA. in the past I have used Coaching Actuaries.

I liked the TIA lessons, but I find the practice problems to be very frustrating because the solutions do not go into as much detail as I am used to from using adapt. The forums do not have as many comments either, so I feel like I have to post every single time I have a question (AND keep track of my posts).

But I have also heard adapt does not have a great question bank for this exam. Thoughts on this? I'm asking because I'm considering whether I should buy an ADAPT subscription ASAP...

I'm using both ADAPT and TIA. I find the problem system in ADAPT to be more user friendly than TIA, although I like the discussion forums for TIA. Adapt does not seem to have a discussion forum during quizzes. I feel like I remember seeing the discussion forums on ADAPT for MLC and MFE, but maybe that was just when taking practice exams.

There are not many video solutions on ADAPT for STAM compared to what they had for MLC and MFE.

Oh nice, I didn't know you could keep track of forum responses. Thanks!

ADAPT is awesome, and the CA product--which was already great--has been on an improvement rampage all summer. It is a really nice experience.

Thanks for the responses. I bought ADAPT and I already feel so relieved. Once I get better at the problems I will probably switch back to TIA to see if the solutions click better.

I have also set email notifications for TIA forums. I did not know about that feature earlier but it will absolutely come in handy.

I'm using ADAPT. The video lessons are well done. I like the format because I can view a lesson in a short period of time and then flip over to a quiz for practice. The manual is also a nice feature because I can read over what I had previously watched while working through practice quizzes.

ADAPT has gotten me through 4 exams so far and I don't expect it to let me down this time.

Glad I could help! ADAPT is serious about satisfying its customers.

Best of luck!
