I know exactly what you mean, I got 5's twice on C in October and February before passing in June. I started back up for MAS-I because I knew there was a decent amount of overlap between the two, but I did recognize that I started up very quickly and the danger of burnout was pretty real. I've been trying to balance taking days off of studying to keep myself fresh, I'm looking forward to a long break until the new year.

I think he intends them to all be the same difficulty but I'm sure it turns out where some are easier than others.

How do you guys find the ASM practice exams? I am only practicing with them and I am getting nervous reading you are using the Mahler's or ADAPT or TIA. Anyone else here using ASM?

I actually didn't think that exam was as bad as Mahler's first couple of practice exams.

What do you think about the TIA exams? Do you remember how you performed on them prior to the spring sitting?

Just wanted to say, I think it's great how people go out of their way to try to help out fellow posters, when this close to the exam and everyone is stressed, even if they don't get a thank you or acknowledgement.

I failed with a 5 (I think by just one question) in the Spring. I recall getting high 40s on the TIA exams just before failing. I think the TIA exams were slightly harder than the real thing.

TIA sufficiently prepared me, if I had memorized more, I would've passed.

Good to know, thank you!

Random rant, but why is it so difficult for the CAS to create exams of consistent difficulty? The difference in difficulty between Exam S for Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 is jarring. If they didn’t change the syllabus so often, this exam could’ve been offered more frequently via CBT years ago (and thus have more normalized difficulty using IRT).
