The last day to submit a VEE course for approval is February 16 to earn ASA with the current requirements so I'm trying to figure out when I should take the final test the latest. I only have unit 9 and 10 left but can use some time to review.
If I'm not mistaken you have until April 27th to get credit for established VEE courses. The February 16th date is the deadline to submit a syllabus for a new VEE course.

Hi Lil Chef,

You have until April 27th to request VEE credit from the SOA if you want to get your ASA under the current rules before the transition. You can get credit from an established VEE course such as Coaching Actuaries, your university, or ACTEX, and have your final grade recorded anytime up until June 30th, and then request credit from the SOA any time in the future. That is, if you took the course, and got a passing grade on June 15th of this year, you can request yoru VEE credit conversion (Applied Stats to SRM and Math Stats) any time in the future.

Hope that helps,

Stephen

I am taking this course right now and preparing the final exam. I think the recommended textbook is useful and the assignments are highly relevant to this textbook.
