A friend told me the annual pass was on sale for $14, so I went to buy it. It turned out I already had it. I was also unaware that Activision and Bungie will no longer partner going forward, and it's going to Steam. I've jumped on to play a handful of times over the last week, but finding time has been harder and harder recently. I also avoid PvP since I'm not nearly as good as I used to be, so I'm missing a big part of the game.

Yes. Bungie has really nailed the Season of Opulence. About the only complaint (and its a quibble) is that the last Iron Banner quest line was a bit off and could be tuned better [With that said, I finished it on my Titan and made progress on my other two]

ETA: It might be in part because I almost always prefer a stealth archer build. So I'm never close enough to make shouts or magic worthwhile.
I played a stealth archer my first playthrough too. This time on Skyrim SE, I'm playing with mods as a high elf wizard. With mods, I slowed the level progression, added immersion mods for weather exposure and camping, added a penalty for death, plus a few others. The list gets longer as I add and play. It takes a bit of effort to get the changes to work, but less time than I put into playing (so far.)

The shout key is used for managing some of the mods, and it's irksome when I forget to change it back. I use the frost shout most often for my level 20ish character. Stealth archer on normal difficulty was easy enough for me to not really bother with any other strategy than

At this point I realized the Hunter's Nightmare was the expansion, which explains the drastic bump in difficulty. Oops.

I think the game's color scheme makes it easy to miss pathways, I never found the door requiring a password so I didn't realize why the cut-scene after Vicar Amelia mattered.
If you get stuck again, you can ask me, and I can give you a general tip of where to look next, if you'd prefer that to a straight Google guide.

Making decent progress in DS3, though havent dedicated large chunks of time to it for a bit.

Since then it's felt relatively linear, though I've probably missed some stuff because that's how souls games work.

Last thing I did was defeat The One Reborn in the Unseen Village. That section was tough, stupid bell ringing a-holes reviving everything . Also managed to defeat Amygdala on the first try, initially I was confused by how little damage I was causing, was going to call it a loss and come back later and then realized it was bringing its head close to the ground when it slammed. When it had like 10% health left I did the idea I mentioned earlier, just unloaded my pistol from a distance until it died rather than step up close again

Father Gascoigne, the 2nd boss in the game, is still the boss I had the hardest time with. Granted I'm much better with the controls now, but I think it had more to do with the speed of his attacks. I find the random NPC invaders/hunters the toughest enemies in every souls game, and Father Gascoigne was pretty similar to that.

Primary weapon is currently Ludwig's Holy Blade at +9. I've been keeping the Saw Cleaver high too, that's at +6 at the moment, so I can keep that equipped with fire damage. Found a few instances where fire damage >>> standard damage even at the lower upgrade level.

Also FYI the Steam summer sale started yesterday. The mini-game is confusing as hell this time, way too much reading and I still don't have any idea what's going on.
