Default EOM 7 Task 3 Exp Rate formula

What is the logic behind the Exp Rate formulas in cells D105: D117.

This is the section where it will combine the industry and the Green Co factors by using the calculated credibility. I understand how the manual rate factors are calculated, but I do not understand the purpose of the formula in column D. It appears to be taking the average Green Co factors and then scaling them by the average industry factors.

Any insight is much appreciated.

just started working on EOM 7 exercise...due to differences in age bands between the data sources the GreenCo data is being split into the correct final age bands by using the industry mortality data as relativities

Why would this formula multiply the proportion of greenco avg. over industry average. by the industry data mortality rate of .035?
