My Subaru has dual cameras for the EyeSight system, but I don't think they are user accessible, which is a bummer.

I've been asked what I want for Father's day.

Last year I witnessed a car/motorcycle accident that was sort of a hit and run. The car may not have known anything happened at all. The motorcyclist was okay and walking around.

I didn't see what led to the accident and couldn't identify the car. I think they found the person, but if I'd had a dash cam, that would have settled a lot of open questions.

I've been considering buying one of these, though I've never been in a car with one. how do you plug them in without the wires being unsightly?

i just had this installed. it was on sale when i bought it.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

i does not have built in gps, but you can buy one from the same company. you also need to buy a SD card to store the data.

i had mine professionally installed because it seemed like a pita to do. seemed a little expensive at $110, but
he did a good, neat job hiding the wires

front and rear camera, good reviews, etc. i've been pleased with aukey products before

I have one with a very long wire. You can run it along the outside of the windshield, hide it under the trim there, then run along the dash along the glove compartment. You'll just see a little bit of the wire at the end.

Or, just let a shorter wire hang. I don't really notice it.
