Default feedback about the MS program

I am an international student from India and I have been admitted to UConn's MS Act Sci program for the Fall semester 2013. I am still deciding between universities and would thus like to know more about this program from someone who is enrolled there right now or attended the program in the past or is just aware of it.

I have heard that it is a really prestigious program with very good placement statistics. I would like to know if any sort of funding [TA,RA] is available for international students enrolled in this program. Also, what's it like to live in Storrs. I have heard that its pretty much of its own college town with nothing much to do around. Any feedback would be great as I need to make a decision soon.
