Default Hello fellow CSULB alumni

I know several CSULB math majors who took some actuarial exams and eventually became FSAs. Anyone out there?

Stopped after ASA and half way to FSA. Actually passed 9 exams, but it was 5 ASA exams, 2 FSA exams split into 4 partials, then passed 2 of 4 remaining pieces. Once I got my IRS Enrollment, no more exams.

This obviously happened a long time ago.

Is the campus supporting a student program at this time?
Are there classes available for mid-career professionals?

Default Every few months I check this thread

I have not visited CSULB in many years. Actuarial science seems moribund.

In California, yes, where spoiled rich college kids are living off of mommy and daddy's money and majoring in fluff majors, like management, graphic design, and interpretive dance. When my generation reaches the age of 40-50, the U.S. will be a second-rate nation, and my above comment explains why.
