I was a Mensa member for a couple years. (I qualified from my pre-2002 GRE score.) Then I switched to meetup.com because the idea of paying to have friends started to get to me after a while.

I got into Mensa. 7 tests (or sections of tests). You needed to get a 98%ile on one. I got 99% on all but one, 97%. Woo

Looks like you set your sights too low. You should have gone for Mensa+.
