I don't think it would be unheard of for a graduate student to do that. And it's not like they can't take them out of order. Easier to just do a student discount on all exams, than to say some don't qualify.

Does anyone know what syllabus changes have happened in the last several years, aside from a new edition of BKM?

Hoping someone who has been in this situation can share their experience:

Didn't pass this last spring (got a 5) and it's my last exam. Anyone who's been in the same boat - have you altered you're studying at all, i.e. started earlier since it's the only exam left, same schedule, different order of the readings, etc.

The last 3 years have been on the higher end:
Year Raw Pass %
2011 37.0
2012 43.5
2013 38.7
2014 48.1
2015 40.4
2016 48.8
2017 56.4
2018 52.4
2019 56.2

Hopefully, that's a trend, recognizing how well prepared we candidates are nowadays.

I'm in. Just one more exam to reach FCAS now that I've passed 7. I could have been in Hawaii if 7 hadn't taken two attempts. Damn you, 2018.

Got my grade report. About what I expected. Somehow managed to get 75%-99% on IQ question got 50%-74% on 2 and 3 (which I knew I did bad on in the test).

7 and 9 got 25%-49%. From 10 through 17 got either 75%-99% on all questions except two with a 100%.

the last two I got 0-24%. I was a bit surprised by this.

Seems like they thought 7 wasn't an out of bounds question. Not having a BAII for 2 really killed me.

Examiner's report will be an interesting read...
