Default LTC insurance

Hello, I want to purchase a LTC insurance for myself. Are there any good products you guys recommend from an actuary's perspective in terms of:

- low expense loading
- cover basic LTC benefits
- premium guarantee
- Good solvency ratio of the insurer

Thanks

I'm not an expert in LTC but I have spoken with multiple agents in the last year (representing different companies) that basically say the insurers they sell for are ditching the standalone LTCI business. It's just not a risk that can be affordably priced, and companies that have tried to sell it have lost their shirt. NPR recently talked about this too:

A combination product (e.g. life product + LTC rider) might be a more practical option, especially if you are also looking for life insurance, but will be highly situation-specific in terms of its value to the policyholder.

Self insuring (building up a lot of assets), relying on family, going on medicaid, or just hoping for the best are probably the 4 real choices these days.

you way too young to even consider this product imo

do you have major health problems?
