Default 2013 Fantasy Football Season

With all the free agent moves, trades, and upcoming draft, it's always fun to think about fantasy implications.

Welker to Broncos. How does it effect the value of:
Tom Brady
Wes Welker
Peyton Manning
Dem. Thomas
Eric Decker
Joel Dreessen
Jacob Tamme

Brady maybe declines a little, but not much.
Manning stays about the same from a drafting value perspective. He has another threat, but they like to run the ball (and do so quite well).
The other Bronco receivers decline in fantasy value and Welker is not going to be changed a lot, IMO. Manning throws to the slot a lot (at least they were showing stats to support it on ESPN).

How often would you think the Broncos would run with Welker lined up as the slot? Seems like run heavy offenses usually go with 2 TE sets and only lineup 2 WRs. Might be hard to keep the run identity going while still getting your money's worth with Welker.

Decker & the Den TE probably takes the biggest hits in fantasy value but Welker is a PPR possesion receiver these days.

Didn't know the Denver TE's had any fantasy value. Dreesen scored a few TD's but not much else, Tamme did even less.

They did if you were a Gronkowski owner and didn't draft a backup.

What about Harvin? I think Russell Wilson was draftable before this move, but now he might be top 10 worthy. He'd be a risky option; one where you'd want a guy like Ryan or Flacco as a decent plan B.

Fantasywise, I think his value goes down. He was a workhorse in Miami. Won't happen in Detroit. He'll still share with Leshoure, who might even get the goalline work. Not to mention it's a move from a running team to a passing team.

I think this will help the Detroit #2 WR the most, as he will be the most ignored player out there now, and his name isn't Titus Young anymore. Not sure on a relative scale with other #2 WR's where this puts him.

Wildcard is what happens to Daniel Thomas on Miami. They drafted him to be an integral part in the offense. Will he succeed? Will they even give him the chance?

You want Ryan as your plan B? I'd take Ryan as Plan A.
