![]() Only car dealership warranty I've heard working out in favor of the insured is the tire warranty on high-end low profile tires. My friend has a BMW 6 series, and drives to/from manhattan everyday from long island**. he paid $2000+ for the warranty, extra for the no deductible, but his tires cost 700 each. AFAIK, it's a one time thing on his 3 year lease. In the last 2 years (2015, 2016), he has replaced 13 tires. So well worth the warranty he paid.

![]() Wow. I know the low-profile tires are more prone to popping. But he must be driving on streets with a lot of potholes, right??? Has he ever bent a rim?
Also, f*** run-flat tires with no spare. Don't care for the idea. I don't know if BMW is still doing this or not. |

![]() MY gf has high-end low-profile tires as well - her experience is *slightly* better than that. Just an awful product.

![]() I have very low profile tires. One flat so far in 1.5 years but, to be fair, I ran over a big piece of metal that would have ruined almost any tire. And I happened to have an extra tire, or it would have been about $300 to replace it. Bridgestone Potenza RE050, very expensive tires. When I replace them I will get something a little toned down.
