I vote for crafting Dr Boom too! What are your guys' favorite decks?

I play freeze mage, though I don't feel like it's great for the meta right now.

Made it to legend finally last night although I dipped down to six stars out at one point. Man, this is a swingy game. Face Hunter definitely finished the job for me this season.

Freeze Mage looks like fun. Handlock is my pet deck although I'm definitely worse at it than Hunter. I'll probably be playing a greedy version for the rest of the season, not that concerned about finishing as high as possible.

Congrats! My highest is only rank 6, though I didn't start playing constructed until December. Hoping to grind legend after my exam lol

yeah, please don't try to do that until post-exam. you have to play a ton of games, like 200+ at least, and even then no guarantees.

this was my third serious attempt. it's definitely a tough climb.

I decided to finally put this on my iPhone and start playing. I pretty much suck, as I probably get effed up 50% of the time. Was slowly beating down a priest when all of a sudden they pulled out these health/attack boost cards and turned one of the minions into a 40/40 beast that just one-shotted me. So sad

it's a fun game. getting into constructed seriously is pretty tough for a newbie these days but you can make plenty of decks to dink around with.

ranked is actually better matchmaking-wise than casual is -- you'll probably run into less people with legendaries / pet decks there, believe it or not.

the tavern brawls, their new game mode, have been pretty fun.

I'm such a noob, I still need to unlock Arena mode

Do people tend to focus on one character/deck type to start? I've only been using the Hunter so far...

Yeah because you have to put a lot of resources into getting the good cards (Epics, Legendaries) for fun/novel decks.

You can either do it the old fashioned way and get owned and try to copy whatever owned you until you figure it out or look up some of the neat constructed decks people have made on
Spoiler:
hearthpwn.com
. Spoilered in case you don't want to know since I know a lot of people enjoy trying to figure out deck-making by themselves :P

I just got back into the game this weekend after not playing since Beta so I'm trying to make the Warlock giants deck that crushed me back then. Still need 3 more giants though

forgotten you need to unlock arena...

there are some achievement-type things that give you gold... I want to say there is a reward for getting all heroes to Level 10? try searching for 'hearthstone hidden quests' or something like that. not really a spoiler as those should be achievements you can view.

but as far as focusing on a class or not, just play what you're having fun with for now I'd say.
