Bloodbath continues, and we are back negative for the year. I NEED TO STOP CHECKING THE MARKET.

i check my balances nearly every trading day and update my spreadsheet. been doing it for many years, through up and down markets. have been around and watching this stuff for long enough to not get overly emotional and take stupid actions.

one of the reasons to make a good, solid financial plan is so that you'll have a plan to stick to when things get rocky or downright bad. the rocky/bad stuff was contemplated when creating the plan, the bad thing is happening/happened, stick to the plan.

I made sure to get in and ride the market downturn part of the way. But I got back off the slide yesterday. I am terrible at checking emotion at the door when it comes to investments, so I am sitting things out for a while.
