Say Y! changes the platform next year and Ohtani is merged into 1 player, who would get to keep him?

My 3 options would be:
1) He goes back into the player pool as unkeepable
2) Team that drafted him 1st gets the keeper rights (and his keeper value is set at that draft position)
3) Both managers have to do a beer mile, and the fastest time gets him

My ranking of these is 3, 2, 1
3, 3, 3, then 2 with modification. Earlier declaration date on him, and if declined the person who took him second gets the option.

Personally I feel like this will be a moot discussion so not putting a lot of thought into it. First, Yahoo! would have to redo their coding for one player and they can't even seem to get passwords right. Then, he would have to exceed the hype to the point where he is keepable despite the hype this year. Third... I really don't want to think about it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has problems with Yahoo on this.

Yea I would have traded with you... didn't see anything about trying to move back in those rounds from you.

Yeah, it was in the trade thread. I was looking for:

Anyone willing to deal a 10th and 12th for an 8th and 13th?
Definitely negotiable though.

Oh see I was thinking you could have moved back in the 3rd, 5th, and 8th and moved up a round or two somewhere else. Those are usually easy trades to make to improve your overall draft.

The change has been made to 3 DL spots as we have 10 favorable, 1 indifferent, and 9 stragglers who can't outvote the other 10. Also, it just makes good sense these days. Feel free to draft Michael Brantley everyone.
