May definitely be interested, but definitely see if you can use it first. It is pretty fun to play with and pretty much indestructible from a software standpoint. If you screw it up, you just reload the file system image.

need to go out and buy an SD card for it. i saw that a full sized SD card is recommended instead of a micro with full size adapter as that combo sometimes doesn't work with the RP

I've got micro with an adapter. It works fine.

I've actually heard to get the best performance, you should go with a SD card for boot and then have the OS on a USB thumbdrive. The RaspBMC distro will actually create the combo for you automatically if you have a SD card and thumbdrive plugged in when running the installer.

There are plenty of tutorials on how to do it with other distros and they may do it automatically, although I haven't looked into Debian in a couple of months for it.

I'll look into this

Computer display did not work with it but TV did. Will have to figure that out
