I speculate that since exam five and nine were bigger debacles, the unfair exam 7 won't get much focus. The result will be a 74% pass mark with 35% passing. Those are my guesses.

Do you really think that many will get 74%

Got a TL : DR on exam 9?

Also, sat in on the Update in Admissions session in Boston and the plan is to have 2 IQs per exam from now on and they're trying to get it to 2-3 an exam in the near future.

The BKM portion of the syllabus is not too bad.

I am always surprised about how many people score well.

I was shocked I passed exam 8 last sitting and got higher than 72% on it.

I tend to think that if people don't do great on questions, the exam graders become more lenient on the questions. Maybe a 74% will be the passing but if they were grading harshly that would be a 72% practically.

I just don't think they will deviate that greatly from the +75% historical pass mark.

Too Long Didn't Read?

I heard a lot of people said they couldn't get through the test for exam 9. They said the questions were really long. I felt exam 7 had too many long questions too. But it doesn't sound like it was the same extent as exam nine.

This sitting was two IQs on exam 9. But they want 2-3 IQs on all the exams.

I haven't heard anyone claim this, but I will conjecture that the IQs go hand in hand with TBE.

The CAS wants to have a few long project open book questions with TBE. Essentially making a test that is just TBE open book IQs.
