But isnít LeBron, the GM not the player, responsible for picking the supporting cast? He has been more vocal than most players about who to pay and who to get. He is a great player but a horrible GM.

His supporting cast was plenty good enough until Kyrie decided he needed to go elsewhere. I have no idea how much say LeBron had in getting Isaiah Thomas in return, but that hip injury should have been a huge red flag - not sure if Ainge was asked or willing to part with one of his young guys. The Cavs probably thought getting Brooklynís 2018 1st round pick would be higher than #8. (The Kings, who won 1 more game than the Nets, ended up w the #2 pick)

Kyrie screwed the Cavs over when he made that trade demand. Left the Cavs with little options.

This might sound like a dumb question but why am I seeing all these news stories on legalizing sports betting? Is it not legal and if so, when was it made illegal? Because every year I see stories about Vegas odds so people are presumably betting on them? Which would mean it's legal? I'm confused.

Sports betting in the US was only legal in Nevada. New Jersey wanted in on the action for Atlantic City casinos and challenged the federal law.

With the SC decision the other day, the flood gates are open for any state that wants to allow sports betting the ability to do so now.
