They did well on the Western front early on. That's about it. Is it worth risking legitimizing atrocities just to point out that a few battles went well? Doesn't seem like it.

They built the best equipment, if considered as a single unit, but pretty much the worst engineering possible on a total war effort. Non interchangeable parts, hard to build, hard to maintain.

Their enigma machine has a cool name, but it turns out Britain was much better at encryption and decryption.
