Gary Coleman was there. He was a security guard.

I thought he'd always be there for me. But Gary Coleman is dead now.

Been working my way through Master Quest of Ocarina of Time on 3DS. The 3D really does look great. Makes me glad that Metroid on 3DS will use the 3D

I just learned that the SAG-AFTA (or whatever acronym) video game voice actors have been on strike since October. I remember their demands being pretty unreasonable, especially given how replaceable they seem to be. Did anyone else know this?

Yeah I heard about it.

I'm all in favor of everyone asking for better payment and better treatment at work, so I support what they're trying to do.

In the end though, I don't think they'll be successful, because their work simply isn't that important to video games.

I think they had 3 demands. I agreed with them knowing in advance of taking a job if motion capture was involved and a pay bump for it. I agreed with more vocal rest/notice for days that would be more vocally straining (yelling for example). I disagreed with them getting a pay bump if the game sold X copies. That seems to be the one they really want to die on as well.

Manipulating women...now THAT's hard. Probably because most woman have no clue what they like.

A few weeks ago I was looking for a game to hold me over until this fall's shooters start coming out. I decided to look at my Steam backlog and thought, "Why did I buy this game? I have zero interest in playing it." So yesterday I picked up last year's Hitman game, but otherwise I'm trying to limit myself.

Being one of those very patient gamers the Steam sales are my favorite. Dishonored for $2.50 FTW.
