Finished RE7 last night. Not sure how I feel about the ending. I need to look for theories/franchise lore videos about it. Great game.

I could see it being free in September as a promo with the release.

I finished AC Syndicate. I shouldn't really buy AC games anymore. I have an OK time the first few hours with stuff...then get bored but feel the need to finish the story. Then at the end of the story I'm like "yeah, that wasn't really worth it".

I'll have to remember this for the next AC game.

Lol. I actually have an interest in Origins, but now that you say this, I might heed your advice and my memory.

Played a bunch of random Indy colony builders and Rogue-likes meh. Also trying Ashes of the Singularity, but the gd tutorial campaign seems to be going forever. Steam reviews tell me it's a better version Supreme Commander than Planetary Annihilation... Which I find a bit upsetting, because all of these games are basically poor clones of my favorite game as a teenager: Total Annihilation. Which was incredibly innovative, an original setting and hundreds of new game mechanics. That game basically created the Macro-level RTS, and in the 20 years since we haven't improved at all. Same mechanics, same units, same dumb story. They could at least add a good story!! Or a soundtrack!!! Jesus.

But taking chances doesn't always pay-- which is why the original company bankrupt and the cloner-companies are not. One has to wonder if the video-game world would be better if it had patents? And the answer of course is hell no!!!!

Speaking of innovation. Supergiant (makers of Bastion and Transistor) just released a new game. Can't wait! Those f***ers are incapable of doing anything by the book. And they never forget to add character.

I'm honestly not thrilled from what I've seen from Pyre so far, but I enjoyed Supergiant's previous games that I'll likely give it a shot the first time it's discounted on PSN.

I just love that Supergiant doesn't stick to a gameplay formula and are willing to try something new each outing.

Getting a bit tired of ME:A MP. Apex rank > 20K and Challenge rank > 23K, but there are only so many scores of times you can grind platinum w/o getting bored. The release of 30 new variants per weapon prior to maxing out the ultra rares was annoying as well.

Splatoon 2 is great. I missed out on the first game, so it's all totally new to me. Definitely has a, "just one more round" quality to it.

Got final 2 kills for squad I was playing with last night in PubG. Didn't think bringing a MicroUzi to late game that I would ever use it, but it totally clutched one kill for me by dropping a guy crazy quick and then drop the final guy with an AKM headshot.

Fun game man, I've played this way too much last couple weeks. I'm quite experienced by this point, but if there is anyone that wants to duo or make a squad, even if new, I would still be down.

I meant to give it a spin this weekend, but didn't get to it.
