It's a manga/anime based on football (another big passion of mine) so if you're not into sports it may not be as exciting lol. It has great humor and overall the story is good. They do a good job of translating American Football into manga and anime action scenes too.

I think I'm most nervous about how other people would judge our costumes more than anything else. Then again, as long as we like them who cares? haha

Well, I just got my TIA online course for MLC. I am hoping it treats me well as I head into this exam for the fall!

Starting ASM tonight. Anyone hear how it is? I really liked it for FM and MFE so I'm hoping it's a good manual to use.

Decided to wait on buying TIA until the beginning of May so I can use the full 6 months.

In the mean time, knocking out my last VEE, and hopefully the modules through the Interim Assessment.

Looking forward to studying for this with y'all. It's nice that we have an 8 month period to get ready!

Um, you did notice that I'm an OU alum, right? Yeah, I life football. I'll try to find it when I get caught up with RWBY. It's pretty short, should only me a couple more days at the pace I watch anime. What can I say, I'm a junkie!

If I learned anything from the con it was that someone else's costume will always be worse than yours, haha.

Amen.

Also, A Peterson may be a questionable parent, but he's a killer RB make no mistake.

ETA: Sam "graduated" when I was a freshman there. He did a great job, but he always choked during championship matches, so be forewarned. I really liked him anyway. Better than I could do.

Just finished the lessons for B.1 today! Here's my method

1. Watch lesson and take notes, pausing and attempting examples/exercises
2. Attempt first-pass problems
3. Review solutions
4. Rework missed first-pass problems
5. Read the corresponding section in the MLC textbook, working examples

So far so good! Life tables are definitely more intuitive than just trying to remember the relationships, but hopefully I'll get more comfortable with the direct formulas as I go.
