My Math/Stat 396 course was pretty awesome with her. I got to do a term project on P&C Cat modeling. It kicked a lot of ass.

isn't 396 probability III? my teacher was a new guy who just got his PhD from Columbia.

He did do a good job teaching Markov Chains and branching processes though.

Yup. It was a bit of a free form class, as that specific course didn't have a rigid syllabus at the time and was really up to the professor with what was covered.

It was a small class, with about 10 students. We all had to do a pretty intensive report on "real world applications if Stochastic Models" and chose to do mine on Cat Modeling.
