Arrow 2015 International Actuarial Salary Survey - More Data Please!

Hello Actuarial Outposters,

I need your help. I'd like to compile the most comprehensive international actuarial salary survey. That's where you come in...

If you (or someone you know) would like to be included in our survey, please upload your information securely at https://www.dwsimpson.com/internationalsalary.

We currently have over 900 data points from 88 countries. The top ten countries we have data for are:
  1. USA
  2. Canada
  3. Australia
  4. Bermuda
  5. UK
  6. India
  7. South Africa
  8. Singapore
  9. Hong Kong
  10. Switzerland
Once we receive 30+ data points for any country, we will release & update that survey annually. When we receive over 100 data points for a country, we will segment the data by discipline.

All participants will receive an advance PDF copy of the survey, plus quarterly updates. We will also be giving out an iPod Touch to one lucky actuary (maybe more if we hit 2000+ data points).

As a quick sneak peak, here are a few recently updated graphs (which still need more data):

Spoiler - Click here to see some of our international salary graphs...:

Survey Stats, thus far:

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at tom.troceen@dwsimpson.com.

Thank you,

Tom

Why are actuaries so highly paid in Bermuda?

I heard there's no income tax as well.

Is it because companies in Bermuda only hire very experienced actuaries?

I wanted to participate, but I really don't want to be contacted by recruiters =)

I am sure that if I politely decline, the recruiters won't bug me!
