This is good to know/hear. I must be working at one of the most inefficient dinosaurs.

I just don't believe managers can get things done without having to dive in sometimes (creating processes for new concepts, technical and business wise). Doing it (besides efficiency) yourself initially will also help managing.

Data point of just 1, but I believe the term we use is "working managers" to signify that the management part is just another burden placed on managers on top of getting out their own work product.

I never worked in Health, but I will say that in all my years in Life Insurance, I never heard of managers who never did anything but "manage."
