It's definitely got the widest breadth of topics, but I think that's what inflates the perceived difficulty of the exam. I don't think the actual difficulty fluctuates that greatly, but there's a huge difference between going into this unprepared vs. any other prelim.

The topics in MLC/MFE build more, so you can still intuitively figure things out, but with C, a lot of the topics don't depend heavily on each other. So knowing how to do KM/NA problems won't help you with credibility and vice versa.
